Little by Little – New Music Video Released!
I still remember sitting in my corporate office, hearing the melody for “Little by Little” come into my head. I instantly started writing down the lyrics, not realizing that I was writing one of the songs on my upcoming album.
You see, the melody was so catchy, I figured it must have already been written. So off I went to research on Youtube & Google.
Thankfully, it hadn’t been written.
The video was directed by Steven Doiron and was filmed in one of the Historica Development apartments renovated by Keith Brideau in Saint John, New Brunswick (my home city).
Often times I feel like multiple people and every time I turn around in this industry, people are constantly saying “choose an image and be consistent”, but the truth is, it’s hard to be consistent when you feel like you are different people.
The night before the shoot, Steven and I were chatting on the phone and this concept came up. He asked me “Do you have lots of colourful clothing? Cause I have a great idea…”
The video depicts 4 characters:
1) The Miss Aileen business woman, type A personality
2) The free spirited hippie child
3) The 90’s high energy pop star vibe
4) The edgy badass rock star
So what about you? Do you sometimes feel like you have multiple personalities/personas? If you were going to capture them in a video, what would they be?

There are times when I feel more like one character than the other, but the truth is they’re all inside of me.
Instead of getting down on myself, I chose to embrace this and so here it is.
