Thank YOU for a Great 2015!

This is a very special time of year for us to remember all the positives from 2015, say thank you to key people & create tangible goals for 2016. I want to start by saying THANK YOU for reading this. It means a lot that you’re reading & subscribing to the blog. Be sure to check out the mailing list below so you get updates whenever I post.

I truly believe this is the start of an incredible year and I want to share all the details with you first hand! I also want to hear from you! If there’s something you want me to talk about, let me know. Would love feedback on what you think of these stories!

Also up on the big thank you block is all the media channels who have covered “Hey Sugar”, the music and the story! Thank you for sharing news & fresh content with us daily so we can stay informed!

Here are a few highlights:

Dec. 29th, 2015 – coverage in the Telegraph Journal about the debut album “Savannah Soul”:

Dec. 2nd, 2015 – on air with John Case in the studio – the host of “What Matters Most” on Rogers TV:

Dec. 1st, 2015 – coverage in the awesome music industry FYI Music News about making the East Coast Countdown! (Please click here & vote for “Hey Sugar” – it only takes 2 seconds):

One of the coolest things about pursuing music full time, is the notion of having “fans”. People who care about your music and what you do and actually come out to shows whether it’s to enjoy the music, take amazing photos and/or write about their experience. I’m so grateful that these people exist. Here are a couple great individuals who do this:

Scott Thieu Photography – Halifax, NS. Check out his photo below and his full show review here. Oh by the way – I’m playing in Halifax, Tuesday night, Jan. 5th, 2016 at the Carleton! Be sure to come out if you’re in town:

Nate Smith (Igor) from New York got some really cool photos from our show at Le Poisson Rouge in NYC on October 29th!

Another huge thank you to the CBC radio, Vanessa Vander Valk & K 94.5 for their interviews this Fall. It was fun to stop into Moncton and play “Hey Sugar” live on air, with Mike on “The Kutting Edge”:

In October, after Folk Music Ontario, I drove around Ontario visiting some great radio stations! In case you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to visit stations, here are some photos:

Day 1: Toni from Fresh 103.1 in London, Ontario! Thanks for the live interview & performance!

Day 2: Brian at Energy 99.7 in Peterborough, Ontario. Appreciate the East Coast chat, the directions & advice:

MJ & crew from Mix 97 in Belleville. Thanks for the live performance & for recommending an amazing lunch spot MJ:

Rob Seguin even played my piano on this visit to 100.5 Fresh Radio Station in Peterborough! Thanks for letting me entertain you all & the awesome chat!

Day 3: Kool 105.3 in Waterloo proved to be a fun visit when I played “Hey Sugar” for the almost completely female office.

Just this week, I had the chance to visit with the new Program Director Mike at 97.3 the Wave in Saint John and chat about the catchy new single “Hey Sugar”:

Another thanks to LA Weekly, Music NB & the NB Film Coop for coverage about the music and shows!

As I gear up to hit the road for a show in Halifax on Tuesday, Jan. 5th at the Carleton & on Wednesday, Jan. 6th at the Hilton Saint John, I can’t say thank you enough to all these great people who share stories & music.

On Thursday, I will be driving to Los Angeles, California to continue following my dreams of being a songwriter & entertainer. Thanks for all the love – it will only get better from here!
