Apryll Aileen Releases Cover of Bad Moon Rising Music Video

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia – East Coast singer/songwriter Apryll Aileen has just released a new music video for her mysterious cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Bad Moon Rising”.
Aileen’s original take on the upbeat track released in 1969, allows the listener to appreciate the lyrical content from a fresh perspective.
“I never realized how dark the lyrics were until I shifted the song into a minor key,” Aileen states. She came up with the idea after hearing her father play the song on guitar one afternoon. “It was such a popular song of its day; one could argue that the apocalyptic message resonates with our culture today, given the current state of global affairs.”
The music video was filmed by Peter Doyle and Directed by award winning Screenwriter/Director Steven Doiron. Music recorded and produced by Jeff McGrath. Full video here.
The video release comes just a day before she is set to take the stage in Halifax at The Carleton Music Bar & Grill with pop vocalist/pianist Shaun LeBlanc. Cover is only $6.
Leblanc himself is a singer-songwriter who has begun to turn heads amongst audiences and music industry alike. He has won numerous awards in his home province of New Brunswick including Galaxie Rising Star and ECMA Rising Star Stage performer. This show is just one of his many East Coast Spring Tour dates.
Both artists are currently working on albums, with release dates in 2015.
