Apryll Aileen Releases “Hey Sugar” to iTunes

TORONTO, Ontario – Soulful singer/songwriter Apryll Aileen has just released her first single “Hey Sugar” to iTunes & Google Play. Produced by Nick Fowler, Aileen wrote the song for one of her best friends after watching her struggle through a toxic relationship.
“The song is meant to inspire & empower people – especially women”, Aileen states. “However, I think everyone can think of a time when they have felt used and disrespected. If you’ve ever felt that way, this song is for you.”
Aileen, currently in Toronto, Ontario has spent the last week attending and performing at a private showcase for the Folk Music Ontario Conference and visiting radio stations in London, Peterborough, Belleville & Kitchener/Waterloo. This week, she heads to Chicago and New York City to showcase her musical talents and promote “Hey Sugar”.
When Apryll returns to the East Coast, she will be playing in Halifax, Nova Scotia at The Carleton Music Bar & Grill on Tuesday, November 3rd, the Hilton Saint John on Wednesday, November 4th & Grannan’s on Friday, November 6th (upcoming events).
“Hey Sugar” is the first single to be released from her debut album “Savannah Soul” which will be available for presale in the coming weeks. The album was produced by Toronto based Kenny Munshaw, between his studio in Toronto and Dollhouse Studios in Savannah, Georgia.
