Savannah Soul Album Release Party at the Carleton Tuesday

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia – Soulful singer songwriter, Apryll Aileen will be teaming up with Kirby Putnam & Lil Thomas for a show at the Carleton Music Bar & Grill on Tuesday, January 5th, 2016 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Show time is set for 8pm and cover is $10 at the door.
Aileen is excited to share the stage with Putnam who released his original song “Faith” in February 2015 to benefit the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia, after debuting it at “A Different Stage of Mind” fundraiser.
This will be the first stop for Aileen on her “Savannah Soul” Album Release Tour – an album bearing sounds of the deep south with melodic pop and bluesy piano vibes. The album is now available for preorder at www.musicalgypsy.ca. The album was produced by Toronto based Kenny Munshaw (Justin Bieber, The Tenors, etc.).
On Wednesday evening, Aileen will be playing at the Hilton Saint John at 8pm and then is off to the states to continue the whirlwind, eventually arriving in Los Angeles, California on Jan. 20th. Aileen has just added a win to her resume, nabbing first place at the NB Arts Battle in November 2015, awarding her a cash prize of $2000.
Her first single “Hey Sugar” is available on iTunes & Google Play and has received radio play in Ontario & the East Coast. It is currently ranked number 8 on the East Coast Countdown.
